I am a freelance IT trainer with two teenage sons who are helping me understand all the things I didn’t get when I was a teenager.
In between keeping up with everyone’s demands – with as much dexterity as an elephant playing marbles – I love to write.
I blunted my pencil on a succession of short stories and children’s writing, till a year ago I decided to write a novel. I’m lost somewhere within my third draft, and have discovered that the writing bit is much easier than the editing. Consequently, my hapless characters have spent many months in a capricious maelstrom, but rescue attempts are ongoing.
In the meantime, the blog keeps me sane and like any good diary is a great way of letting off steam! Hope you don’t mind…
Hi there, I love your blog and it’s ambitious goal (can anyone understand teenagers?!). I am publicising some brilliant books for teenagers and I wondered if I could email you about an idea (do your boys read and how old are they?)? Could you drop me a line on georgialawe at gmail dot com ?
Thanks
Georgia
